Hello everybody, I’m back for my second post this spring.
First of all, thank you to everybody who has stopped by to pick up tokens. I check sales every morning to make sure that everything has worked properly and that everybody has had a positive experience with the store. Sometimes there are hiccups and I try to catch them before too much time has passed. To everyone who leaves a note, thanks again. I try to respond to as many of them that I can. I have also made the “silver” discount of 40% off entire orders good through the end of May.
So things are pretty much going the same way as they were going last time I posted. Business is good and I am trying to sneak in more personal work during evenings and weekends. My first priority is to get small requests turned around as quickly as possible, so players can get their characters into their games.
My personal project is headed into the sci-fi realm, it’s a first for me. I’ve been playing since the early 80’s and have never dipped my toes into the genre. So a lot of my personal projects is based around making assets for sci-fi material. It fortunately is lining up with several patrons needs as well so I hope we can all benefit from some new directions in my work.
The weather has been gradually getting nicer. Which is good, the girls have managed to get outside a couple times this past week. There isn’t anything better for making me feel better than to see the sun pop out from begind clouds. Sure the light hurts my eyes and it takes about 10 minutes to adjust but feeling the warmth soak into my body is so welcomed right now.
I hope everybody is doing as well as they can during these times. If you need anything from me feel free to contact me. I try to be considerate of players needs and realize that some people could use a little kindness right now.
Last but not least, I am also working with Devon, who has done coloring work for me in the past. He has already shown me several new and exciting token animations. If all goes well we will see new animated token packs in the future.
Very good!, I’ll be looking forward to more animated tokens, my players love them. As for the sci-fi stuff I’m also eager to see more work as its quite exciting to me as a GM. I run 2 games a week with all the free time we are having now, this is a nice activity during these trying times.
Glad to hear you’re thawing out in the sun when it presents itself. And great to hear about scifi stuff! We need more of that. Not to knock the Fantasy genre by any means, but there’s very few scifi options out there these days!!
