It’s October, and I haven’t posted in a long time.

I don’t know why I have posted anything for such a long time. I could say that I have been busy, I have, but not so busy that I couldn’t stop to write a quick recap of the past months. I could say that I have just been in a weird funk where I feel even less social that I usually fee. That might be closer to the truth. It’s probably a bit of both.

October is almost over, I’ve been hard at work making tokens and the weekends are filled with activities with my wife and girls. I have tried to avoid being on the computer after my workday ends on Friday. So much of what I do for work and hobby revolves around my computer. When I’m not making tokens I might be here designing things like shelves or cabinets to go with my hobby interests. Currently I’m trying to combine many sci-fi rules into a new miniature board/war game.

When I do get away I like to build the things I’ve designed, or just think about projects I’d like to be working on. I love playing games and hangin out with my friends, but nothing bring me more joy than actually creating something.

In the works is the Creature Codex from Kobold Press. It’s another 400+ monster manual that I am making tokens for. Squeezing in the tokens between the commissioned tokens already in the queue. When I sent the email asking for the work from KP things looked like they were slowing down. Shortly after sending the email I got 3 large orders for tokens and now, like it has been for the past 6 years I find that my days are full of token making. I hope this doesn’t sound like complaining. I’m extremely lucky that so many things have gone my way. Getting to make tokens for so many great people is probably the third best thing that has ever happened to me behind meeting my awesome wife and having three amazing girls.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who has supported me and my work over the past 15 years. From the early adopters to my current patrons and the people just now finding my work. I appreciate every single sale, every request for custom tokens and the kind words that keep me doing the one thing I seem very well suited to do. Thanks.
